2 things i love about hari raya: FOOD & my loved ones.
And i have to admit, i think this raya is one of the best. Everyone was around. Finally took a half-half family potrait. 1st half, the young ones. 2nd half, the old ones. haha. Apparently, we're too big to take a family potrait together. hehe. :)
Cam-whoring has become a tradition the last few years. So we did just that. The annual feast. And when it came to mintak maaf to my nenek, there was a long queue! Like buying ice-cream! Haha. It was so cute, man....
We even made our own "Umbrella" video. Haha... merepekz... and pictures on bicycles... larr... :).
That was in the first day. The 2nd day was more about food, food, food. Steamboat @ my hse! Haha. I noe... like wth? steamboat for raya? It's damn expensive and damn non-traditional. LOL. But i loike it! It was fun. Everybody did DIY. Haha. Cik faridah & co came first, TOO EARLY tho. We weren't ready but eventually everything settled down. :). My 6 cats were being tortured. They were captured, tickled and released. Captured, tickled and released. Captured, tickled and released. U get the picture. :) Ouh ya, i forgot, they were forced celebrities, being forced to take pictures. "Come on, kitty, look at the camera, kitty, Meow.... here, kitty, here." Ahh. Slow torture.
My sis's bf, fahmi and teddy came. And my uncles, aunties & cousins finally saw them, unless they haven't oredi seen it one friendster. Then we went to my uncle's hse after my whole family had changed. My clothes smelled like barbequed meat. More food at Wak Steady's house. I took a video of the kids playing with the teddy bears. Freaking cute i tell you! I'll post it up asap. I loike!!
Then me n my sis brought our dear tired, night-shift working bfs to my nenek house. (We're lucky my hse, wak steady's and nenek's are just streets away from each other. Teddy got along very well with my 2nd last uncle & also the rest of the family.. My nenek was cute as usual. :) :).
All in all, i've had super a lot fun in the first 2 days of raya. And i'm thankful. Coz there are some out there who are unable to taste the food i taste or njoy their time with their loved ones like i do. Or there are some who so pitiful bcoz they dun value hari raya at all. They think hari raya is just for dress-up and to spend with frenz n gfs/bfs. Those kind of people need a reality and priorty check. Or maybe a brain surgery.
